Best to have a car with you. Uber/lyft easily available. You can park at the National Street Metra station in Elgin to take the train to Chicago.
Other things to note :The garage is rented out, you may see the tenants who know to be respectful of guest privacy and space. We have a pack n' play for babies/toddlers with crib sheets if needed. There is a safety gate at the top of the stairs - Please use when children are upstairs. BE CAREFUL going up and down the stairs. They are narrow with smaller steps.
