Experience the river life of Camanche with this completely remodeled 100 year old two story home on the Mississippi. Small house that feels large with lots of seating areas to relax and read a book or take a cat nap. This house has panoramic views up and down the river with a completely new kitchen and new bathrooms. Enjoy the sunrise over the river with all new windows across the backside of the house. Bring your boat as the public boat dock is adjacent to the property or just enjoy watching the boat traffic go by and waving to the friendly boaters. The house is in a perfect location on 1st Street near small parks and the public library and dock. There is a large front porch on the street side where you can sit and watch the many walkers and runners using the bike path.
On the river side of the house there is an open back yard with a picnic table and a small fire pit for fires. The house is also within walking distance to a nearby pub with coffee shops and convenience stores seven short blocks away. This is a house for all seasons! Great for families or group gatherings.

Summary: We reserved the Riverfront Home to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my parents. My brother and I (their children) joined them for the stay so that we could all celebrate this milestone anniversary as a family. This house is in immaculate condition. The restoration and updates made to this home bring it into the modern era of conveniences and technology while still respecting and paying homage to the history of the home. The kitchen, with it's large granite island and complete set of appliances, made cooking and serving family meals a breeze. We enjoyed eating at the provided picnic table or dining table so we could look out over the water as we dined. This trip will certainly be a memory we will cherish as a family.
