We can't wait to welcome you to experience 330 square feet of stylish comfort in our 2021 Cherokee 39sr trailer. Ultra tall ceilings, full size fridge, private master bedroom, breakfast bar, massive flat screen smart TV perfectly located to be viewed from either of the overstuffed recliners or from one of the two separate hide-a-bed sofa sleepers. Relax by the propane fire outside. Free parking on site.
Big Bonnie's hillside hideaway has everything you need to enjoy an easy San Diego vacation. Experience the fun and adventure of RV living in the most stylish and luxurious 42 foot trailer! Our property is peaceful and serene with gorgeous hummingbirds and butterflies that enjoy our garden. The sunrises are outstanding here in El Cajon and you can enjoy them from one of the many hiking trails that are within minutes of the property!
Big Bonnie is a BRAND NEW 2021 Cherokee 39sr trailer! It has approximately 350 square feet of living space with super tall ceilings. The brand new full size bed sleeps two people. Each of the two pull out sofa beds in the living room sleep two people and there are stairs up to a rad loft with mats upstairs that can sleep two more people, but it is sized for children. We provide super comfy pillows and linens for all the beds as well.
Big Bonnie is also equipped with a dining table with 4 chairs, a breakfast bar, two leather recliner chairs, a large bathroom and shower, full size stainless steel refrigerator and freezer, stainless steel sink, oven and stovetop, ice cold A/C and built in heat, high speed Wi-Fi, huge Roku smart TV in living room and bedroom, and a bluetooth stereo. The kitchen is stocked with a coffee maker, tea and coffee, microwave, toaster, and basic kitchen needs like cups, plates, wine opener and silverware. Due to Covid, we ask you to bring your own seasonings, oils and any other cooking items you need. We also provide bath towels, beach towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash.
Outside the trailer, you will find a gorgeous sitting area where you can lounge by the propane firepit and enjoy the view. Please let us know if you would like to purchase our "S'mores package" where we will provide marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers and S'mores roasting sticks. This package is $35.00.
We have easy parking for one or two cars directly next to the trailer.
The trailer is located off of a quiet street with quick freeway access. We are located on a private road and offer free parking directly next to the trailer.
There is a lockbox on the trailer and we will send you all the entry codes and detailed instructions in the check- in email.
We are a 25 minute drive from San Diego International Airport and Sea World, 25 minutes from Downtown San Diego and the SD Zoo. You can find out about all our favorite places on our website which we will send to you upon booking. Our goals is to help you have as much fun in San Diego as we do!
*** For extended family/friends, we have a few more rental options. One is located on the same property in El Cajon. Retro Ruby is a 2019 Retro Riverside trailer that sleeps two people. Our other two properties are located in Ocean Beach which is 25 minutes west of El Cajon and 3 blocks from the beach. The first is Retro RV by the Sea , this trailer sleeps 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 small kids. The second rental option in Ocean Beach is the Green Door Cottage by the Sea.
