Stylish, fresh, welcoming and comfortable apartment, set in 110 acres of beautiful Somerset countryside with a river for paddling and picnics, just outside Exmoor national park. Walk to the pub, visit Wimbleball Lake (sailing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, fishing and wild swimming) a few minutes away, and we're close to the delightful villages of Bampton and Dulverton with great places to eat, and artisan shops. If you would like to bring your dog, please message me (there is an additional charge). Grown ups only.
The space
We've had a number of guests taking advantage of our fibre optic broadband whilst remotely working during their stay.

Lavender's has a delightful, light sitting room with a wood burning stove overlooking the lavender garden, a bedroom (the first room in the flat) with kingsize bed dressed in fresh white bed linen, a country kitchen complete with Butler's sink and traditional dresser, opening from the spacious adjoining dining room. There's plenty of space outside to enjoy, (111 aces including a small wood).
Lavender's has a wet room and separate loo - it's a generous space for couples to stay.
I take a repayable cash deposit of £50 on arrival for guests bringing their dog , and charge £10 per dog per night, there's even warm water to keep their paws clean outside.

We're easy to reach and the coast is just over an hour away, so a great place to combine countryside and beach retreat.There are plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants within 20 minutes of our farm, which is at the end of a typical bumpy farm track, with organically farmed pastures complete with small bluebell woodland. The river is a popular place to while away some time...with a glass of wine or a picnic. Lots of wildlife and friendly animals that belong here.
In the spirit of a quiet stay there is no tv in the flat or main house.
