Bright, modern, and stylish historic chandlery building awaits you in downtown New Bedford. This 2 floor loft style apartment gives you a front row seat to the best views downtown has to offer. High ceilings, exposed stone, open floor plan. Three private queen bedrooms, two ensuite bathrooms, washer and dryer. Right outside the door are a plethora of restaurants and shops showcasing the strong culture of downtown. Also located across the street for the ferry for Martha’s Vineyard!
The space
This apartment is about 1200 sq ft. with an open concept living/dining area, 3 spacious bedrooms and expansive views of the working waterfront. There is a stairwell with two flights to access the space, at the top of the stairs, next to your door is a utilities closet, and a washer and dryer fully stocked for your use. One of our bedrooms has a deck and a slider perfect for relaxing, people watching, and soaking in the salty air.
Perfect for a family, or a group of friends, there is plenty of common space to share with guests. Lounge and snuggle on the couch with a coffee, host a brunch, or an intimate cocktail party in the evening.
Upstairs, the loft is very tranquil making it the perfect place to do your morning stretches, yoga, or just simple meditation.
Outside your door is the best the area has to offer! Walk our cobblestone streets, marvel at the well preserved historic district, and visit the Whaling Museum at the top of our street. New Bedford is known for is strong culture that can best be experienced at many eateries, galleries, and shops. There truly is something for everyone.
On the first Thursday of the month we celebrate AHa! a mini festival that invites people from all over to enjoy downtown. Across the street from our lot, is a jazz band, providing us a front row seat to the concert.

Right outside our door is a parking space that you may use during your stay. If your car is small, you can fit 2 cars in the lane way. The second floor of the building is an office, and during the week there are two spaces in the lot for their use.
