From the flat you can head to Inverness, which is about 9 Miles from the city, by bus, Taxi or your own car. Having your own car is probably essential should you wish to visit loacl tourist attractions such as Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, Loch Ness, Landmark Adventure park, Highland Wildlife Park and possibly the towns of Aviemore for outdoor adventure activities, Nairn for the long beautiful beaches or Ardersier for a beautiful coastal walk and to perhaps see some of the local wildlife such as Dolphins and seals.

On the way into Inverness there is a large Retail park with a Vue Cinema Complex, Tesco Store, Costa, Starbucks, NEXT, Boots, Argos and Frankie and Bennies to name a few.
