Old Haydon's Bakery is a traditional cob house restored in an Arts and Craft style in the heart of a beautiful village. Very accessible to Exeter, the moors, and the coast. There is a cottage style kitchen housing an Aga, and a wood-burning stove in the lounge, making this the perfect country getaway. Nearby is a fantastic village pub with a very friendly local atmosphere.
Spacious bedrooms with plenty of room for all the family and a beautiful private garden, tucked away down a lane.
The house is filled with art, books and light, with accommodation over three floors. Each room has a cosy and characterful feel, with fresh hotel linen and clean, neutral colours.
The single room has a spare mattress under the bed that can pull out to allow for 2 children to sleep in this room. Linen is not provided for this spare mattress.
There is a free car park behind the gardens with access to the street via a footpath only two minutes from the house.

There is plenty of unrestricted on street parking. Regular buses through the main street of the town.
Other things to note
Killerton House and Gardens ( National Trust) is only 10 minutes by car and the same distance to Ashclyst forest for woodland walks. The Antique village has great coffee and retro, vintage and antique shopping in a large old cider factory premises only 5 minutes by car. The Bear Trail - an award winning family assault course - is over the road from the Merry Harriers.
There are two pubs within a 4 minute walk and the Kensham club opposite the cricket field ( 5 mins walk) has wonderful views and a fully stocked bar. You can walk to the Merry Harriers Pub (30 minutes and over the river) for great food in a restaurant setting ( 5 mins by car). Cullompton is 10 mins by car and has a range of restaurants and takeaways.
