Recently renovated and restored to an exceptional standard, retaining many period features such as exposed timbers and stone walls, an open inglenook fireplace plus additional wood burning stove. The original main structure dates back to the 18th Century. Enclosed/private gardens. Great for large families, events, and film location.
The space
A very spacious historic building with modern amenities and luxury interiors that blend well with the character of the old beams and architecture from hundreds of years ago. Plenty of room for the extended family. The garden is large enough for camping, marquee (with permission) and various events.
Internally there are 4 large bedrooms upstairs; 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, downstairs there is a further twin room. Comfortably sleeping 10 but can sleep more on temporary beds etc. There are 4 bathrooms in total. The living areas are beautiful and super spacious, two of which have fireplaces, one with original inglenook and the other with a wood burning stove. The kitchen and dining area provides ample room for the entire family to enjoy meals together.
The outdoor space is mainly laid to lawn, in all about a third of an acre. It's a substantial outdoor area and would be ideal for events and the like. Private chefs can be provided and weddings will be considered.
