Being within a 15-minute drive to many beaches it provides access to the best of both the mountains and the coast. The village itself offers a variety of pubs, eateries, gift shops and a general store/post office. All major supplies can be sourced in the coastal town of Porthmadog approximately 9 miles away
Rose Cottage sits on the banks of the river Colwyn and due the proximity of the river we can only accommodate adult guests. The cottage retains many of its original features and old-world charm yet with all mod cons. The accommodation comprises of a comfortable lounge to help you relax after a busy day exploring, with Freeview TV and WIFI access. The cosy morning room with dining area and a good-sized kitchen that has a retro 1930’s style yet is fully equipped to cover all the requirements of a modern self-catering cottage.
There are two double bedrooms, one of which overlooks the river Colwyn and Moel Hebog. The bathroom has bath with shower, W.C and wash basin. Outside there is a small contained garden that directly overlooks the river Colwyn with views of Moel Hebog and the Welsh Highland railway station which is set above the village. We supply garden furniture and B.B.Q.
You will find lots of circular walks within a short distance of the cottage including access to the Beddgelert Forest trails
