Summary: Lovely property and very nice owner, however, there are some problems. First, the grill exploded into a grease fire when we tried to use it from a build up of grease in the pan. There was no fire extinguisher. We contacted the owner who was rightly concerned and called her maintenance company right away. They apparently came the next day while we were out and told her the grill was fine and did not bring the fire extinguisher we had requested. We had also told her that there were ants in all the cabinets and countertops and they failed to spray as she had requested. She ordered a new grill, but it couldn't be delivered until the day we were leaving so we were without its use the whole time. One bedroom didn't have any window coverings so the early morning sun was an alarm clock for the kids. That bedroom was also missing a smoke alarm which the maintenance company failed to rectify despite being asked. Like I said, this is a lovely property and very nice owner, but unless they get a new maintenance company I wouldn't rent it again. This would be a 4 star property otherwise. I'm trying to be fair to the owner who doesn't live nearby, but she is being let down by her management company.
