Waternish is a treasure trove of activities and sights with Skye Skyns Tannery and shop at Loch Bay (plus Yurt coffee tent open between April and September) and Trumpan Church, steeped in history and offering panoramic views of the surrounding isles. The Seat of Clan MacLeod is at at Dunvegan Castle (approx. 10 miles away), whilst other places to visit include Coral Beach, Neist Point Lighthouse and The Giant MacAskill Museum. Boat trips are available from Stein harbour for wildlife spotting and diving. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the coastal walks, where you might spot seals, dolphins, porpoises, golden and sea eagles or even the occasional whale. For the more adventurous, there are walks at the Quiraing, The Old Man of Storr, or The Cuillins.
