Positive: The cottage itself is beautiful, it's finished to a high spec, it has clearly had a lot of thought put into it and quality craftsmanship. It's very quiet and peaceful, the log fire is a very welcome addition in the winter, kitchen is small but well designed, same with the bathroom. You pretty much have all you need there for a lovely relaxed few days away.

Negative: They need to listen to previous people who have stayed there and address the following two things, pretty much immediately. Firstly...there is no radiator in the bedroom, the one in the large living area is pointless and the warmth from the log burner, even with a fire burning all day, barely reaches the bedroom. Myself and my partner had a tough time sleeping due to being cold, on two mornings I had to wear a wooly hat in bed. Secondly, the WiFi does not work. We must have tried to connect to it 20 times and failed, even after resetting. Luckily, we had no work obligations that, that could scupper, but even something as simple as ordering in food, became quite difficult.
