The Egg Room is one of seventeen holiday properties at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables - this is a five minute drive away. It is only a ten minute drive to Tring Railway Station, shops and facilities, or a ten minute walk to Ivinghoe village, with pub, shop and tea room. London Euston is a 40 minute train ride from Tring Station.
The Egg Room is a single storey studio flat, and although it is ground floor, access to the front door is via some stone steps.
The studio is furnished for a comfortable stay, with a five foot double bed, TV and DVD player, digital radio and broadband access.. The shower room has a basin, power shower and separate toilet.
The kitchen corner is well equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment. Access to a washing machine and dryer is available by arrangement with the main house. The table has seating for two people.
The property has access to a tennis court which is available to hire, games room and a children`s play area. There is also a shared garden available on the farm just a short walk away.
This apartment is a serviced apartment which includes a weekly linen change for longer stays.
Parking for one car is available on site. Wi-fi is included in the rental. This property is not suitable for pets or children.
