Just a short drive will take you to the small market town of Machynlleth - a busy place steeped in history, home to the world famous Center for Alternative Technology Just beyond lies the magical thought provoking legends of King Arthur in the tourist attraction King Arthurs Labyrinth, a must for all ages. The wonderful beaches of Borth and Aberdovey are approximately 25 minutes or 12 miles away. Artists Valley as the name suggests, 15 minutes. University town of Aberystwyth within easy driving distance. The holiday cottages are close to the local pub, which is 1 mile away at Cemmaes Village and the nearest shop is 4 miles away at Mallwyd.
The area is a wonderful location for walking and bird watching with over 150 species in the garden, surrounding the holiday cottages.
