Cartway Cove is a beautiful, self-catering home perched on the clifftop overlooking Port Gaverne and Port Isaac, enjoying spectacular views of the coast and sea. There are lots of good restaurants in Port Isaac and any seafood fans should visit top chef Nathan Outlaw's New Road or Outlaw's Fish Kitchen, with many of the produce being the local catch of the Port Isaac fishing boats. Wander the delightful harbour and embark on scenic jaunts along the South West Coast Path, perfect for simple strolls or a more energetic ramble. The surrounding area is full of places to visit, with the nearby town of Wadebridge offering a wider selection of amenities, and various family friendly attractions just a scenic drive away including Camel Creek Adventure Park, Doyden Castle, and Polzeath Beach. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
