Curated over one level and situated close to the shops and the dog-friendly beach, this cosy little hideaway is within easy reach of some excellent pubs, world-renowned birding locations, and many other attractions.
Tucked within a banked hollow, Badger's Den makes a delightful haven at any time of the year. The fully equipped kitchen boasts all mod cons, and features everything required to rustle up a delicious meal. With some of the county's best local produce available in the surrounding area, you are bound to opt to stay in for a night or two, gathered around the dining table with seating for four. And, should you wish to head out to eat, there are plenty of great cafes, delis, gastropubs and restaurants nearby. The open plan space leads into the tranquil and comfortable sitting room which enjoys delightful garden views from the windows and adjoining conservatory. To the other side of this hideaway, the welcoming dual aspect master bedroom has a king-sized bed with garden views. Heacham has many footpaths to discover, and a great beach side promenade that stretches all the way to the iconic carrstone cliffs of neighbouring Hunstanton. Look out for popular Bordoli's pizza truck that visits the village on a Wednesday evening, and be sure to sample the gooiest of treats from Breakfast and Brownies on the high street. There is also a great antiques shop and cafe to be found next to the Tesco Express. For a larger supermarket, Lidl is located on on the road to Snettisham, and there is a big Tesco in Hunstanton, which also has EV chargers in the car park and a fuel station. For a special culinary experience, head inland to the village of Docking to sample the delights of the Nest Farmhouse, run by a Michelin star award winning team, or head further along the coast from Heacham to Old Hunstanton to find Michelin restaurant, The Neptune.
